There's a natural tendency to want everything to remain untouched. For summer not to end, for evenings not to grow dark, and for the things we like to always look exactly the same as they did on the first day. As if the passage of time were a mistake we must correct.

Sometimes you write to us asking what cream to apply to our bags, how to treat them, or what product to use to protect the leather. And our answer usually surprises: none.

The leathers we select are natural. They are not covered by layers of plastic or heavy lacquers that suffocate them. This means they are alive.

Our pieces breathe, absorb the sun, and on the hottest summer days, react to the environment in a very similar way to our own skin. Treating them with chemicals or extra treatments only blocks that nature.
