What is the "Testa di Moro"? It is a Sicilian legend that tells the story of a tragic love between a young woman from Palermo and a young Moor during the Muslim domination in Sicily. Legend has it that the young woman used her lover's head as a vase to decorate her balcony and keep her love close forever.
